| The house is in Riomaggiore, the most southern of the five seaside villages in the “Cinque Terre”. It is located in the historic village center adjacent to the main church and overlooks the Mediterranean Sea and the entire village. The typical vertical Ligurian style house, painted with the characteristic pastel colors of the coastal region, has recently been restored and divided into three separate apartments. Each apartment has an independent entrance. |

| The apartment is in San Terenzo di Lerici, a small seaside village located on the south-side of the Gulf of La Spezia, also known as the Gulf of Poets. Past inhabitants drawn to this romantic coastal environment include Dante, Lord Byron, Shelley, D. H. Lawrence, Erza Pound, Pasolini, and many others. Each were influenced by the natural splendor of the gulf which can be seen in their artistic works. San Terenzo is an excellent location for travel itineraries to the Cinque Terre, Liguria (Portofino, Porto Venere, Genova etc…) and Tuscany (Lucca, Carrara, Pisa, Florence, etc..), and Rome. The apartment is within a two minute level walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants, and the marina and medieval castle of San Terenzo. |
